PET - M E 7075 POLYESTER FILM
35 GAUGE CHEMICALLY PRETREATED
METALLIZED POLYESTER FILM

Phoenix "PET-M E7075" is a high barrier, metallized, biaxially oriented polyester film with chemical pre-treatment beneath the metal surface and corona treatment on the opposite side. It offers improved metal adhesion, excellent gas, moisture and light barrier properties on a 35 gauge base sheet of PET-E 4160. "PET-M E 7075" provides good puncture and improved flex crack resistance in comparison to 48 gauge metallized polyester films. This metallized, hi-adhesion, ultra-high yield polyester film exhibits the following features:

  • Improved metal adhesion to the base sheet and decreased moisture sensitivity in laminations
  • Excellent gas, moisture and light barriers
  • 33% source reduction/yield improvement versus 48 gauge polyester films
  • Better flex crack & pinholing resistance versus thicker polyester films
  • Excellent dimensional stability reduces film shrinkage during processing
