60-100 Gauge Biaxially Oriented PVDC Film
Phoenix "PVDC-UHB" is a biaxially oriented polyvinylidene chloride film with superior oxygen and moisture barrier properties. It offers aluminum foil-like barrier in a clear, low stretch, retortable plastic film. Additionally, "UHB" is microwavable as lidding stock and thermoformable in vacuum formed UHB laminations. This highly heat resistant biax PVDC film may be rotogravure or flexographically printed using common ink systems. "UHB" provides excellent bond strength and is intended for either adhesive or extrusion lamination with selected primers and certain resins. It has the following features:
